Agnes RF is a radiofrequency microneedling device with insulated needles, meaning only the tip delivers energy. The skin above the treated layer stays protected, which is what separates it from standard RF microneedling.
The fat cells that are destroyed do not come back. In that sense the result is permanent. The honest caveat is that remaining fat cells in the area can still enlarge if you gain significant weight, so the result holds best when your weight stays stable.
We commonly treat submental fat under the chin, jowls and the lower face, the neck, upper and lower eyelids, the brow area, and bra fat along the back. It also works on other small, defined fat pockets where the anatomy allows safe treatment. We assess each area individually at consultation.
Many patients get their result from a single treatment. Some need a second session, usually spaced around two months apart to allow the first result to settle. That's typically fewer sessions than injectable fat dissolvers or most other non-surgical options, which is one of the main reasons patients choose it.
More than most websites admit. Expect tenderness for a day or two, then swelling that peaks around days three to ten. The chin area can stay swollen for up to two weeks. Bruising is possible. Most people cover what's visible with mineral makeup from around day four and carry on normally.
Not quickly, and that's normal. Your body needs time to clear the treated fat cells and build new collagen. Most patients see meaningful change starting around one to three months, with the final result at roughly four to six months. What you see at week two is swelling, not the outcome.

For the right candidate with mild to moderate concerns, it's a real alternative. For someone with significant excess skin or advanced laxity, it isn't. Surgery physically removes tissue, and nothing non-surgical replicates that. We'll assess you honestly and refer you out if that's the better path.
